You seem like a thoughtful, intelligent, detail oriented technician/person. I think you're a grammar snob, though. I, too, spend much time online and reading. However, life is way too short to go OCD over spelling and grammar. Really! I'm a pharmacist and I had to go look up what a freaking ellipses is. Were you an English major in college? I never did well at sentence diagrams in english, but I can write out a mean cheamical transformation and graduated with a 3.2QPA in pharmacy school. Some people have different skills. I wish writting were like a good chemcial reaction, short, concise and to the point. Don't be too tough on the grammar & spelling underachievers out there :) we have feelings, too.

Dear J.A.T.,

I thoroughly enjoy your blog and its contents, and I would probably enjoy working with you very much in pharmacy.

My greatest grammatical pet peeve today is the attempt to form a plural using an apostrophe where it is inappropriate to do so, e.g., "soldier's" instead of "soldiers." Also, there seems to be an inability for people to spell "definite" correctly (they spell it "definate.")
